July 22, 2009. Mezhdunarodnaia zhizn' continues to celebrate its 55th anniversary with another installment of its "Golden Collection" lecture series and a reception at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow. The event was attended by UNESCO Director-General Koichiro Matsuura, who gave a speech on cultural diversity.

. Mezhdunarodnaia zhizn' hosts a reception celebrating its 55th anniversary and the launch of its "Golden Collection" lecture series. The event was attended by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who formally opened the lecture series with a speech on the challenges facing the world today and the UN's relationship with Russia.
